Fireworks

Just noticed that I haven't blogged for almost a month. Not that I'm too busy to blog or anything. It's just that somehow it didn't cross my mind. Maybe there isn't much updates in my life currently.

On the other hand, the Malaysian International Fireworks Competition (MIFC) is here. Ok, not exactly here but PICC, Putrajaya. But it can be witnessed from Cyberjaya. Yesterday was the opening ceremony and it was spectacular. The atmosphere must have been so much grander there with the music that accompanied the fireworks display.

My mind is picturing the scene from 'V for Vendetta', haha. Of course, this is no revolution and none of the government buildings will be blown up. The competition is in conjunction with 'Visit Malaysia' campaign as well as to celebrate Malaysia's fifty years of nationhood.

But given the current administration of the country, it will not be surprising if the competition turns to revolution and the fireworks are replaced with explosives.

Oh, I so wanna buy the tickets to watch the finale! It will be really great to stand beneath the fireworks.

hi

Just wondering, which part of Cyberjaya can get proper view?

The Lakeview should be the next best place after the PICC building itself, maybe even better.

The PICC building and the bridge are just across the lake.
