The shy lizard

There is a really shy lizard living in my room. It usually hides under my CPU and it will stick its little head out to check if I'm looking whenever it wants to cross over to the other table.

Naturally, this shy lizard always goes back under my CPU if I'm looking. I'd pretended on several occasions not to see it and it acted just fine.

I pretended not to see it too, today. It came out from underneath my CPU and crawled across to the other table. In the middle of its journey, I turned to look. It just froze and stayed still. When I turn back to my PC, it went straight back to hide under my CPU, abandoning the rest of the journey. Haha, that poor thing.

It really should have more guts and stop being so suspicious, you know. I have no intention to harm it at all. It hasn't done anything that annoys me. In fact, I'm grateful to it for eating the bugs in my room. It kinda reminds me of someone I know too.

But I can't deny that I find its shyness rather cute =)
