Life is really full of ironies. When you start thinking that something is ridiculous, you are bound to commit the same ridiculous thing in the future. Worse, you might even commit it repeatedly at a frigtening frequency as if to compensate for all the time lost.

This week is a very fine example for. I had never been able to undertsand how people can miss their lab sessions. I mean, lab sessions are big deals in engineering so I can't understand how people can miss something so important. As if life is answering my question, I have missed not only my lab but my midterm paper as well this week! Yes, it's like a double-blow and both were due to oversleeping. Including the missed lectures and tutorials, I have a fantastic record of missing every form of classes available in less than a week!

Besides that, I have also experienced the process of getting fake MCs which I frown upon (see the irony?). The first MC was for the missed midterm paper. I told the doctor the truth about my oversleeping and she gave me an MC (it costs RM8).The second MC is for the lab replacement. This is a bit tricky, you see as this is my 2nd MC in 4 days. So I went to the doctor with an excruciatingly painful look on my face and told him (this is a different doctor) that I am experiencing a serious period pain and I need pain killers. The irony is, I don't take pain killers even when experiencing fatal (ok, a bit exaggerating here) period pain and here I am, consulting a doctor for something so minor! This 2nd MC plus the medications cost me another RM24.

The price of overlseeping
= RM32 + Integrity

Integrity is priceless. Oversleeping is very EXPENSIVE.

the uni doctor is free too if we buy a certain insurance policy that costs rm200 a year. this year, i didn't buy cos i think it's not worth it as i hardly see the doctor.

see la, when you buy it you don't need it. when you didn't buy it you need it...sigh
