i got to know this new friend who is considered weird by the average/normal standard. strangely, i don't find him that weird. yeah sure, he is different but i still will not call him weird. somehow, i find the fact that my 'weirdness tolerance' is higher than the average people quite fascinating. the only explanation i can give to this higher than average 'weirdness tolerance' is that most of my friends are weird. hence, this new friend seems 'normal' to me though he is weird in the eyes of others (no offence to my friends =P)

my weirdest bunch of friends, needless to say is my friends from mgs. mgs, or rather 5Sc1 '02 is the only place where you can find:

  1. people singing, dancing and making song requests on the last remaining days before spm
  2. people playing captain ball for every pj lesson
  3. people who bring more piano books than textbooks to school (siaw wan)
  4. people who were (and still are) crazy over PR
  5. people who actually know what PR means
  6. a class monitor who babysits the class inside & outside school (li li)
  7. people who use fighting fish as a gift
  8. people who play water at every opportunity they get
  9. people who actually enjoy gotong-royong
  10. people who talk about x-rated stuff more than anything else (long live the ham-yau group!)
  11. excellent maths teacher with cute butt (mr. cheang)
  12. people who really know what straight lines, circles and parallel lines are
  13. people who are able to draw perfect circles using only a drawing tool (pen, chalk, pencil..etc) and a piece of string

so, after all the years growing up with these weird people, the weirdness is somehow part of me. i dare say most of us will have above average 'weirdness tolerance' and i am really proud of it.

hmm, i wonder if the fact that he shares the same birthday with li li partly justify his 'weirdness'? =P
